Fixing Hard Edges and Seams That Connected Paths Does Not Blend

Confirm Both Blocks Are in the Path Family

Connected Paths only blends blocks it recognises as path-like. If a seam stays sharp, one of the two blocks is probably outside that family — for example a full grass block, a plank, or a crafted brick. Swap the offending block for a path-family equivalent (dirt, coarse dirt, dirt path, sand, gravel, or a stone variant) and the transition should appear immediately.

Give the Blocks a Shared Face

Blending is calculated per shared block face. Two path blocks that touch only diagonally, or that are separated by a one-block gap, will not blend. Rebuild so the blocks sit directly beside each other, and make sure you are not looking at a corner where four blocks meet — corners naturally show more edges than straight runs.

Reload and Re-Check

If a seam persists after you have fixed the block types and their placement, the resource pack may not have reloaded. Trigger a resource pack reload from the options menu, then look again. Also check that no other resource pack is loaded above Connected Paths and overriding the same block textures — pack order decides which textures win, and an overriding pack can hide the connected borders entirely.
