Use Different Compost Outputs for Different Worlds

Enable World-Specific Configurations

Compost Mod supports per-world settings, so your survival world can have different outputs than your creative or modpack world.

1. Check your mod config to enable world-specific mode (if not already active)

2. Navigate to each world's folder or config directory

3. Create or edit that world's composition file

4. Define unique outputs for that world only

5. Leave other worlds unchanged—they'll use their own configs

Organize Your Setups

This is useful for:

  • Survival worlds: Rare drops to encourage grinding
  • Creative/testing worlds: Common valuable items for quick building
  • Modpacks: Balanced outputs tailored to the pack's progression
  • Multiplayer servers: Different rules per realm or player area

Each world's config is independent, so you can experiment without affecting other saves. Changes take effect when you load that world.
