Set Up Your First Void Miner

Crafting and Placement

Craft a Void Miner using the mod's crafting recipe. Place it anywhere in your world—it doesn't require a multiblock structure or specific positioning. Unlike traditional mining, the Void Miner generates ores directly without needing to be at ground level or in a specific biome.

Power and Operation

Connect power to the Void Miner. The machine will begin pulling random ores from the OreDictionary and depositing them into adjacent inventories or pipes. Ensure you have storage (chests, barrels, or mod storage blocks) positioned next to the miner to catch output.

Initial Optimization

Place the miner near your main base for easy access to collected ores. Consider using hoppers or item pipes to direct output into organized storage. The miner runs continuously as long as powered, so reliable power infrastructure (cables, conduits) is essential for consistent ore generation.
