Maximize Damage with Charged Attacks and Critical Hits

Building Your Attack Chain

To deal maximum damage, you must always charge your weapon to 100% before attacking. Weak attacks are disabled in Combatify, so partial swings deal no damage at all. Hold left-click until your attack bar fills completely, then release to strike.

Landing Critical Hits

Critical hits deal bonus damage and are triggered by sprinting into your opponent. Unlike vanilla Minecraft, you can perform crits while sprinting without jumping. When you land a critical hit, all weapon enchantments and active potion effects (like Strength) are included in the damage calculation, making them significantly more powerful.

Extending Your Reach

Charged attacks grant an extra block of reach beyond your weapon's base range. This means a fully charged hit lets you strike from further away than a standard attack. Use this to your advantage when kiting enemies or fighting at the edge of your attack range.

Managing Attack Speed

Different weapons have different attack speeds. After you perform any attack, your attack timer resets and begins charging again. If you miss, you'll suffer a 4-tick delay penalty before you can charge your next attack, so aim carefully.
