Crafting and Placing Turrets

Craft sentry turrets using the mod's crafting recipes. These automated guns can be placed around your base perimeter, entrances, and vulnerable areas. Position them on elevated terrain or walls for better firing angles.

Ammunition Supply

Turrets pull ammunition automatically from nearby supply chests. Place lead-lined or standard chests within range of your turrets and stock them with appropriate ammo. The turret will draw what it needs during combat.

Configuration

Access the turret's interface to adjust:

• Firing range (how far it targets hostile mobs)
• Target priorities (focus on specific mob types)
• Friendly fire settings (prevent accidental hits on allies)

Optimal Placement

Create overlapping fields of fire by spacing turrets strategically. Combine turrets with razor wire barricades to funnel enemies into kill zones. Test your setup by spawning hostile mobs nearby and observing turret behavior. Upgrade ammunition supply as your base grows—multiple turrets consume ammo quickly during raids.
