Set Up and Use Visual Auras for Your Pokémon

Unlocking Auras

As you build friendship and bond with your Pokémon, you'll unlock special visual aura effects. These auras appear around your Pokémon during battles and exploration, showing off your partnership to other players.

Applying Auras

Use the command /contest aura <slot> <aura> to assign an aura to a specific party member. Replace <slot> with the position of your Pokémon in your party (1-6) and <aura> with the aura effect you want to apply.

Customizing Particle Intensity

If the aura effects feel too overwhelming or too subtle, adjust the particle intensity in the mod settings. Open the configuration menu with /companionbonds config to find visual customization options. You can fine-tune how prominent the aura particles appear without disabling them entirely.

Experiment with different auras to find the look that best matches your Pokémon's personality and your playstyle.
