Building a Battle-Focused Team With Fullness Disabled

Rethink Your Supply Loadout

With fullness permanently at zero, your team no longer needs a food supply chain. That frees inventory space and lets you build around combat and exploration instead. The goal is to convert the slots you used for feeding into items that directly improve performance.

Recommended Loadout Changes

1. Replace maintenance food with healing — Carry potions, status cures, and revives instead of berries meant only to top up fullness.

2. Keep effect berries — Berries that boost a stat or cure a condition in battle still have value; only the pure hunger-filling ones are now redundant.

3. Add utility items — Poké Balls, escape ropes, and repels become easier to stock when you are not budgeting space for food.

4. Focus training time — Spend the time you would have used feeding on EV training, breeding, or hunting for rare spawns.

Team Composition Tips

Without hunger pressure, you can keep a larger active roster and rotate Pokémon freely. Long expeditions no longer punish you for leaving a team member benched, so experiment with type coverage and synergy rather than sticking to a small, easy-to-feed core.
