Building a Realistic Cloud Structure
Layering for Depth
Cloud Glass blocks are semi-transparent, which means stacking them creates natural shading and depth. Start by placing a base layer of one color, then add layers above and beside it using different Cloud Glass variants. The transparency will blend them together, creating a fluffy, three-dimensional cloud effect.
Combining with Other Blocks
For more realistic clouds, mix Cloud Glass with white wool, white concrete, or snow blocks. Use Cloud Glass as the outer, wispy edges and denser blocks for the core. This contrast makes clouds look more natural and less flat.
Since Cloud Glass is collision-free, you can build inside and around these structures without obstruction. This lets you create hollow clouds for interior spaces or viewing platforms.
Shaping Your Cloud
Use irregular, organic shapes rather than perfect cubes. Vary the height and width as you build outward. The semi-transparency means imperfect placement looks intentional rather than sloppy—embrace asymmetry for authenticity.
