How to Combine Clean Swords With Other Resource Packs
Clean Swords only touches sword textures, so it stacks well with packs that change terrain, GUI, or mobs. The trick is ordering them correctly so nothing gets overwritten.
Stacking Order Basics
1. Open Options → Resource Packs.
2. Place Clean Swords above any pack that also edits sword or item textures, so its blades win.
3. Place Clean Swords below packs you want to keep for everything else, if those packs do not touch swords.
4. In practice, a safe layout is: your big overhaul pack at the bottom, Clean Swords near the top.
Testing the Combination
- After reordering, press F3 + T to reload and immediately check a sword in your hand.
- If swords revert to vanilla or to another pack's style, Clean Swords is being overridden — move it up one slot and reload again.
- Check both first-person view and the inventory icon, since some packs only replace one of the two.
What Clean Swords Will Not Change
- It does not alter blocks, armor, tools, or GUI elements.
- It does not add new swords or change damage, durability, or crafting.
- Enchanted glint and durability bars still work normally on top of the new textures.
