How to Use Clean Connected Glass With Stained and Tinted Glass
What Connects to What
Clean Connected Glass updates regular glass, all stained glass colors, tinted glass, and all glass panes. Connection happens between blocks of the same type and color. A red stained glass block will connect to another red stained glass block, but not to plain glass or to a different color.
Building With Multiple Glass Types
1. Decide on a single glass type per window section. For colored windows, keep each color in its own contiguous area.
2. Where two colors meet, expect a visible border line. This is normal and can be used as a design feature to frame panels.
3. Tinted glass connects with other tinted glass. It still blocks light, so use it where you want a darker, opaque-looking window that stays seamless.
4. For panes, match the pane color to the surrounding block color if you want the frame and glass to read as one unit.
5. Avoid placing a pane in the middle of a block-glass wall unless you want a break in the connection.
Design Tips
Use color boundaries intentionally: alternate colored panels for a stained-window effect, or ring a plain glass window with a single stained color to create a border without extra blocks.
