How to Make Glass Look Seamless in Your Builds
Understanding Connected Textures
Clean Connected Glass removes the default border and streak pattern on glass, so adjacent glass blocks visually merge into one continuous pane. This only works when the pack is active and your graphics settings allow connected textures. If you still see seams, the pack is either not enabled or another resource pack is overriding the glass textures.
Steps to Get a Seamless Look
1. Place glass blocks directly next to each other in a flat wall or window shape. Diagonal or gapped placement will not connect.
2. Make sure no other resource pack sits above Clean Connected Glass in your pack list, since higher packs override lower ones.
3. Check that connected textures are supported by your setup. Some rendering configurations ignore connected texture files entirely.
4. Use the same glass type throughout a single window. Mixing regular glass with stained or tinted glass breaks the connection at the boundary.
5. For panes, place them in a continuous line or grid rather than isolated single panes, since panes connect to neighboring panes and solid blocks.
Common Fixes
If only part of a window connects, look for a hidden block, a different glass variant, or a pane interrupting the run. Replacing that block with matching glass usually restores the seamless appearance.
