How to Fix Glass That Still Shows Streaks or Borders
Why Streaks Remain
If your glass still shows the vanilla streak pattern or block borders, the connected textures are not being applied. This is almost always a pack order or settings issue rather than a problem with the glass itself.
Troubleshooting Steps
1. Open your resource pack list and confirm Clean Connected Glass is enabled and positioned above any pack that also changes glass.
2. Remove or disable other glass-related packs temporarily to test whether they are conflicting.
3. Reload resources after changing pack order so the new textures take effect.
4. If borders persist only on some blocks, check whether those blocks are a variant the pack does not cover, such as a modded glass block.
5. Verify your graphics configuration supports connected textures. If your setup cannot render them, the pack cannot merge the blocks.
6. Look closely at block edges: a faint line where two blocks meet can be lighting or ambient occlusion rather than a texture border.
When It Is Working
Correctly applied, a flat wall of matching glass should look like a single sheet with no internal lines. If you see that, the pack is functioning and any remaining lines are from mixed block types or lighting.
