Connecting Pipes to Containers

Start by placing wooden pipes adjacent to a chest or machine you want to extract items from. Wooden pipes pull items out when powered by a redstone signal—place a redstone torch next to the wooden pipe to activate it continuously.

Next, lay transport pipes in a line from your source to your destination chest. Pipes connect automatically when placed next to each other. You can run pipes through walls, under floors, or around obstacles—they'll find their path.

Completing the Network

Connect your final transport pipe to the destination chest. Items will now travel through the network. If movement seems slow, replace some transport pipes with golden pipes to speed up item flow.

Test your system by adding items to the source chest. Watch them travel through the pipes and arrive at their destination. You can extend or modify the network at any time by adding more pipes or connecting additional containers.
