Understanding Pyramid Tiers

The Chunky McChunkFace block works like a beacon—build a pyramid of permitted blocks directly beneath it to increase its loading range. Each complete layer of the pyramid adds a tier, expanding the affected area.

Building the Pyramid

Stack blocks in pyramid formation under your chunk loader: the bottom layer is the largest, and each layer above gets progressively smaller, with the chunk loader sitting on top. Ensure all blocks are permitted materials (check your mod config for the exact list).

Testing Your Expansion

After building each tier, toggle the radius renderer to visualize the new loaded area. The translucent box will expand to show your increased range. This helps you plan how many tiers you need for your base or project.

Configuration Awareness

The range increase per tier is configurable on your server or in single-player settings. If the expansion seems smaller or larger than expected, check the mod's configuration file for the tier range multiplier.
