How to Use the Zoom Key, FPS Overlay, and Borderless Fullscreen
Setting Up the Zoom Key
Chloride ships a built-in zoom key so you do not need a separate zoom mod. Go to your controls or keybinds menu and find the Chloride zoom binding, then assign a comfortable key (many players use a mouse button or a key near WASD). Hold it to zoom in and release to snap back. If zoom feels too strong or too weak, look for a zoom sensitivity or magnification option in the Chloride config and adjust it.
Enabling the FPS Overlay
In the Chloride config, enable the FPS overlay to display your frame rate on screen. This is useful for verifying that culling and overlay changes actually help. Position or toggle it as the config allows, and turn it off once you are done benchmarking so it does not clutter the HUD.
Borderless Fullscreen and Fog
Switch to borderless fullscreen in the Chloride display settings for faster alt-tabbing without the game minimizing. While there, visit the fog customization options to reduce or reshape fog distance for better visibility or atmosphere. Save everything, then test alt-tab, zoom, and the overlay together in one session to confirm all three behave as expected.
