How to Use the Visualizer While Building and Restocking Shelves

Placing Books With Confidence

When you fill a Chiseled Bookshelf, it is easy to lose track of which slot already holds a book and which is empty. The overlay solves this: aim at the shelf while holding books and read the display to see the current contents and open slots. You can then place your book into a known-empty position instead of guessing.

Restocking Workflow

1. Gather the books you intend to store.

2. Aim at the target shelf and read the overlay to see what is already present.

3. Identify which categories are missing or low.

4. Interact to insert books into the appropriate slots.

5. Re-aim at the shelf to confirm the display now reflects the added books.

Keeping Categories Clean

Because the mod distinguishes normal, enchanted, and feathered books, you can use the display as a checklist while restocking. If a shelf is meant to hold only enchanted books, the overlay will reveal any stray plain or feathered book that ended up there, so you can pull it out and move it to the correct shelf. This keeps your storage consistent and makes future lookups faster, since each shelf's display stays predictable.
