Finding Ancient Gem Ore

Ancient Gem ore generates deep underground in your world. You'll need to mine down to lower Y-levels to find it. Use an iron pickaxe or better to successfully harvest the ore blocks.

Harvesting and Using Ancient Gems

Once mined, Ancient Gems can be used in multiple ways:

• Crafting armor plates: Combine Ancient Gems with other materials at the Armor Forge to create the base plates needed for Chinese armor sets
• Upgrading with Forge Stones: Use Ancient Gems alongside Forge Stones to enhance and modify your armor
• Direct crafting: Some weapon recipes require raw Ancient Gems as ingredients

Mine multiple ore blocks since crafting full armor sets requires substantial quantities. Consider strip mining or branch mining at deep levels to gather enough gems for your desired armor pieces. The deeper you go, the more ore you'll encounter. Store your gems safely—they're valuable crafting materials for all your Chinese Weapons Mod gear.
