Diagnose Missing or Incorrect Textures

If chests appear with wrong textures or missing models:

1. Verify pack placement: Ensure Chests Reimagined is in your .minecraft/resourcepacks folder

2. Check load order: In Resource Packs menu, confirm Chests Reimagined appears above any other chest-modifying packs

3. Restart the game completely — resource packs sometimes require a full launcher restart, not just world reload

4. Test in a new world to rule out world-specific issues

Resolve Conflicts with Other Packs

If using multiple resource packs:

• Disable other packs temporarily to isolate the problem
• If Chests Reimagined works alone, move it higher in the load order
• Check that no other pack explicitly overrides chest textures

Check Optifine Compatibility

If animations stutter or models don't load:

• Verify Optifine is updated to a recent version
• Disable Custom Models temporarily in Video Settings, then re-enable it
