How to Take Chat Screenshots and Copy Messages

Sometimes you want to keep or share a conversation, whether it is a funny exchange or proof of a trade. The mod gives you tools for both.

Copying a Message

Hover over any line in the chat window. A small set of buttons appears next to the message. Click the copy button to put that message's text on your clipboard, then paste it wherever you need it. This works for both player chat and system messages, so you can grab coordinates, links, or names without retyping them.

Taking a Chat Screenshot

Use the screenshot option on a message or on the chat window to capture the conversation as an image. The mod saves the screenshot to your usual screenshots folder, so you can find it alongside your regular game captures. Some setups let you capture a single message or the whole visible chat, depending on which button you choose.

Sharing and Organizing

After copying, paste into Discord, a document, or a forum post. For screenshots, open your screenshots folder from the game's menu or your file browser. If you take many, rename them right away so you can tell which conversation is which later. Copying is usually faster for text-only sharing, while screenshots preserve formatting and colors.
