How to Use Chat Signing Hider Mod Safely on a Private Server

Understand what the mod does and doesn't do

Chat Signing Hider Mod is purely cosmetic. It hides toast messages, the chat preview warning screen, and the small color indicators next to messages. It does not remove chat signatures, does not stop other players from reporting you, and does not change what the server sees. Treat it as a visual filter, not a privacy tool.

Recommended setup for a trusted server

1. Install the mod only on your own client. Do not ask the server owner to install it; it does nothing server-side.

2. Keep it enabled on servers where you know and trust the other players, since the hidden warnings are the game's way of reminding you that messages can be reported.

3. On public or untrusted servers, consider disabling the mod so you can see verification indicators and make informed decisions about what you type.

4. If you run a server, tell your players the mod exists so they understand why their chat looks different from vanilla.

5. Keep a second profile without the mod for testing or for servers where you want the default behavior.

Common pitfalls

Other chat mods can conflict and re-add indicators. If something looks wrong, disable other chat mods first. Also remember that hiding a warning does not remove the underlying mechanic; you are only changing what you see.
