How to Remove the Red Circle and Color Indicators Next to Chat Messages

What those indicators mean

In modern Minecraft, chat messages can carry small visual markers: a colored dot or bar next to the message, and sometimes a red circle indicating an unsigned or unverified message. These are the game's way of telling you whether a message was cryptographically signed. Chat Signing Hider Mod hides all of these indicators so your chat looks like it did in older versions.

Making your chat clean

1. Install the mod into your client instance (client-side only, no server install needed).

2. Launch the game and join any server.

3. Send a few messages and ask another player to send some. You should see plain text with no dots, bars, or red circles beside any message.

4. If indicators still show, check that no other chat mod is overriding the rendering. Mods that reformat chat (for example, chat tabs or chat filters) can re-add their own indicators.

5. Note that hiding the indicator does not change whether a message is signed. A player can still report a signed message even if you can't see the marker.

Why you might want this

Many players find the indicators noisy, especially on private servers where everyone trusts each other. Hiding them makes chat read like a normal conversation instead of a security dashboard.
