Open the config menu and add a new trigger. Enter your exact in-game username. If the server uses a nickname or a prefix/suffix system, add those variants as separate triggers too, since the mod matches the literal text it sees in chat. Keep the trigger enabled and assign a sound you will recognize instantly — something distinct from ordinary chat and game noises so it stands out.

Reducing False Positives

Short or common names can match unintended words. If your name is a substring of other words, consider adding surrounding context (for example, a greeting plus your name) as the trigger, or use a more unique form. Test by having a friend mention you in chat and confirm the sound and highlight appear. Once working, you can add related triggers like "tp" or "help" alongside your name so urgent requests also grab your attention.
