How to Change the Notification Sound for a Trigger
Finding the Sound Option
Each trigger in Chat Notify Mod has its own notification settings, including the sound played when the trigger is detected. Open the config menu, select the trigger you want to edit, and look for the sound field associated with that entry. Depending on your version, this may be a text field where you type a sound identifier or a dropdown/selector listing available sounds.
Choosing a Sound
If it is a text field, enter a valid Minecraft sound ID in the resource-location format (namespace:path), for example a note block, bell, or villager sound. If it is a selector, browse the list and pick one. You can assign different sounds to different triggers so you can tell at a glance — or by ear — which keyword fired. This is useful when tracking several things at once, such as your name, a trade request, and a raid callout.
Verifying the Change
Save the config and trigger the word in chat to hear the result. If the sound does not play, the ID may be invalid or the sound may be too quiet relative to your master volume; check your in-game sound settings too. Some setups let you preview a sound from the config screen, which is the fastest way to confirm your choice before relying on it in a live session.
