Choosing Your Base Blocks

Level 0 is the iconic entry point—yellow wallpaper, damp carpet, and industrial pipes. Start by replacing standard wool or concrete with the pack's yellow wallpaper blocks. Use the damp carpet tile variants for flooring to create that wet, neglected feel. The resource pack retextures existing Minecraft blocks, so you're working with familiar materials that now look unsettling.

Adding Atmosphere

Layer in maintenance pipes using dark-colored blocks (retextured as industrial piping by the pack). Place them along ceilings and walls at irregular intervals. Use the custom graffiti blocks to add warning signs and eerie markings on walls—the pack includes specialized textures for this purpose.

For lighting, fluorescent panels are represented through retextured light sources. Position them overhead to cast that sickly institutional glow. Add occasional broken or flickering variants by using different block states if the pack supports them.

Final Details

Incorporate the custom paintings—the pack replaces vanilla paintings with liminal photography and warning signs. Hang these on walls to reinforce the unsettling atmosphere. Enable the custom ambient sounds in your settings to hear the droning hum and distant mechanical noises that complete the Level 0 experience.
