Getting Started with Chaos Persists

Progression and Exploration

Chaos Persists is built around a progression system where you tackle increasingly difficult challenges to unlock better gear. Start by gathering custom ores and materials from the overworld, then work toward accessing the mod's five new dimensions: Danger, Crystal, Chaos, Village, and Utopia.

Each dimension presents new threats and rewards. You'll encounter massive bosses like the King, Queen, and Mobzilla that drop special loot when defeated. Explore the huge dungeons and custom structures scattered throughout these worlds to find rare items and resources.

As you progress, you'll craft custom armor sets and weapons—including tools like the Squidzooka, Chainsaw, and Attitude Adjuster—that far exceed standard diamond or netherite gear. These stronger tools are essential for surviving the chaos and taking on the mod's toughest encounters.
