Using Supplementaries Blackboards

If you have Supplementaries mod installed alongside Chalk Mod, you can draw on Blackboards with chalk. This lets you create maps, notes, and plans at your base without marking permanent blocks.

Enabling Colored Drawings

By default, blackboard drawings may appear in a single color. To use all 16 chalk colors on blackboards, enable colored_blackboard in the Supplementaries config file. This allows each chalk color to display distinctly on the board surface.

Practical Applications

• Mine maps: Draw tunnel layouts and mark ore locations
• Base plans: Sketch building designs and mark resource storage
• Team communication: Leave notes for other players about hazards or completed tasks
• Progress tracking: Mark which areas have been fully explored

Combining with Glow Chalk

Glow Chalk marks on blackboards will also glow, making important information stand out. Use this for highlighting critical warnings or frequently-referenced locations.

Blackboards are reusable—simply draw over old marks with new ones.
