How to Change the Freelook Keybind to Something Comfortable
Open the Controls Menu
Go to Options, then Controls, then Key Binds. Scroll until you find the freelook entry added by the mod. It is usually listed alongside the other movement and camera keys.
Rebind the Key
Click the freelook keybind and press the key or mouse button you want to use. A common choice is a side mouse button, since it lets you look around without lifting a finger off WASD. Avoid keys you already use for sprinting, sneaking, jumping, or inventory, or you will trigger two actions at once.
Test It In-Game
Leave the menu and walk forward while holding your new key. Confirm the camera turns freely and snaps back on release. If it does not, the key may be conflicting with another bind — return to the controls menu and resolve the overlap.
Toggle vs Hold
Some versions of freelook-style mods let you choose between holding the key and toggling it. If your build offers a toggle option, try it: a toggle is handy for long stretches of travel, while hold is better for quick glances. Pick whichever matches how you play and set it once so you do not have to think about it later.
