Set Up a Star Network Hub
Building the Hub
A star network uses a central
Net Cable Hub to connect multiple computer setups without chaining blocks together. This is cleaner than linear cable runs and easier to expand.
Steps:
1. Place a Net Cable Hub against a solid block near your central location
2. Place Net Cable Connectors next to each computer you want to connect
3. Hold a
Net Connector Cable in your hand
4. Right-click the hub, then right-click each connector in turn to create links
Expanding Later
The hub holds up to four links, so you can connect four separate computer stations. If you need more connections, place additional hubs and link them together using the same cable method. Each link can stretch up to fifteen blocks away by default, so plan your hub placement to stay within range of all computers you want to network.
When you break the hub or any connector, all attached cables safely disconnect—no items are lost.
