Disconnect and Reconnect Network Cables

Removing a Link

To disconnect two connectors without breaking the blocks themselves:

1. Hold nothing in your hand (empty hand)

2. Press and hold Shift

3. Right-click one of the connected connector blocks

4. Right-click the other connected connector block

5. Both cables will safely disconnect

Reconnecting

Once disconnected, you can immediately create a new link by holding a Net Connector Cable and right-clicking both connectors again. This lets you reroute networks, move computers, or temporarily disable connections without destroying infrastructure.

Breaking Blocks

If you break a connector block directly (without shift-clicking), all cables attached to it will also be removed safely. No items are lost in either case.
