Troubleshoot Cannon Pitch Not Responding to Shaft Rotation
Verify Power Flow
Check that rotational power is actually reaching the compact mount's side shaft. Use a wrench or similar Create mod tool to inspect the shaft connection. The shaft should show active rotation when power is applied. If it's not spinning, trace your power line back to the source and check for broken connections or unpowered motors.
Check Shaft Orientation
Ensure the shaft is correctly attached to the side of the compact mount block. The connection point matters—the shaft must link to the rotational input on the side face. If the shaft is attached to the wrong face, it won't control pitch.
Confirm Cannon Structure
Verify that your cannon barrel and aiming components are properly built on top of the compact mount. If the structure is incomplete or incorrectly assembled, the mount may not be able to adjust pitch. Rebuild any missing or misaligned parts.
Power Direction
Rotation direction affects pitch direction. If your cannon aims the wrong way, reverse the rotation using a gearbox or by flipping your power source's direction.
