Build a Multi-Cannon Battery Using Compact Mounts
Layout Planning
Compact mounts take up minimal space, making them ideal for building multiple cannons in close proximity. Arrange several compact mount blocks side by side or in a grid pattern to create a coordinated firing battery.
Power Distribution
Run a main shaft or power line behind or beneath your compact mounts. Branch off individual shafts to each mount's side connection point. Use gearboxes or shaft splitters to distribute rotational power evenly to all mounts, or use separate power sources for independent control of each cannon.
Synchronized or Independent Aiming
If you connect all mounts to the same power line, they'll adjust pitch together—useful for volley fire. For independent aiming, give each mount its own control shaft with a separate motor or clutch so you can adjust each cannon's angle individually.
Structural Considerations
Build your cannon barrels and breaches on each mount, ensuring they don't interfere with neighboring cannons. The compact size of the mounts lets you pack more firepower into a smaller footprint than traditional cannon mount blocks.
