Finding and Playing Music Discs with Cassette Designs

Locating Music Discs

Music discs in your world now appear as retro cassette tapes instead of the standard disc texture. You can find them in the same locations as vanilla discs:

• Dungeon chests in underground structures
• Woodland mansion chests
• Shipwreck loot
• Desert temple treasure rooms
• Dropped by creepers when killed by skeletons

Playing Your Cassettes

Once you have a cassette tape in your inventory, place a jukebox in your world and right-click it with the cassette. The music will play immediately, and the cassette will visually sit in the jukebox with its unique retro design.

Each cassette features artwork matching its corresponding song, so you can identify which track is playing by looking at the cassette's design. The gameplay mechanics remain unchanged—music still plays for the same duration and can be stopped by removing the cassette from the jukebox.

Collect all the different cassettes to build a complete retro music collection and enjoy the nostalgic aesthetic while exploring your world.
