Pick Up and Move a Chest or Container

Basic Pickup

To carry a chest, furnace, hopper, or any other container block:

1. Empty your hands completely — you cannot be holding any items

2. Stand in front of the container you want to move

3. Sneak (hold Shift) and right-click on the container

4. The block will lift into your hands and you'll carry it visibly

Placement and Preservation

Once you're holding the container:

• Right-click on the ground or another surface to place it down
• All contents remain inside — your items, fuel, recipes, and settings are preserved
• The container retains its exact state from when you picked it up

Important Notes

• You must have completely empty hands to pick up containers; even a single item in your inventory won't prevent pickup, but holding something in your cursor will
• You can only carry one block at a time
• The block must be a Tile Entity (a container or machine) — regular blocks like dirt or stone cannot be picked up with this mod
