How to Open the Cape Selection Screen and Equip a Cape

With the mod installed, press the cape menu keybind. The default is N, but if another mod has claimed that key you can rebind it in the standard Controls menu under the mod's own category. You can also reach the same screen from the Skin Customization tab in your player profile, so if the keybind does nothing, try that route first.

Choosing and applying a cape

Once the screen is open you will see a grid of the pre-installed cape designs. Click a design to preview it on your character, then confirm to apply it. The cape is saved to your profile immediately, so you do not need to relog. To go back to having no cape, select the empty/none option in the same grid.

What other players see

Remember that capes from this mod are only rendered for players who also have the mod installed. Vanilla clients, and players without the mod, will simply see you without a cape. This is expected behaviour and not a bug, so do not waste time troubleshooting "missing" capes on someone else's screen unless you have confirmed they run the mod too.
