Take Off and Control Your Biplane in Flight
Pre-Flight Setup
Place your crafted biplane on flat, open ground. Right-click the aircraft to enter the cockpit. You'll see the HUD display your speed, altitude, vertical speed, and throttle status.
Taking Off
Hold W to accelerate forward along the ground. Your throttle will increase and the aircraft will begin rolling. Continue holding W until you reach take-off speed—the plane will lift off automatically when airborne conditions are met.
In-Flight Controls
Once airborne, use your mouse to control pitch (nose up/down) and roll (wing tilt). Press A and D to adjust your rudder for yaw control. Remember that climbing will slow you down, while pitching downward builds speed.
Managing Flight
Control surfaces respond faster as your forward air speed increases, so maintain steady throttle for responsive handling. Press H to toggle the cockpit HUD if you need a clearer view. To land, reduce speed by climbing gently, then pitch down to descend toward a runway or flat terrain.
