Obtaining a Squadron Horn

Craft or locate a squadron horn from mod loot or crafting recipes. This item allows you to recruit villager pilots to join your aerial formation.

Recruiting Villagers

Approach a villager while holding the squadron horn and use it on them. The villager will become a pilot and join your flying group. You can recruit multiple villagers to form a larger squadron.

Flying in Formation

Once recruited, your villager pilots will automatically fly in a V-formation behind your biplane. They will follow your flight path and maneuvers, staying in formation as you climb, dive, and turn. This creates an impressive aerial display and provides tactical advantages in combat.

Squadron Behavior

Your squadron will engage enemies alongside you during dogfights. They respond to your movements and will attempt to stay positioned in formation. If villagers take damage, they may fall or need to land for recovery. Protect your squadron members by maintaining tactical positioning.
