How to Troubleshoot a Campfire Spawn Point That Isn't Working
Check That the Campfire Is Lit
An unlit campfire does not create or keep a spawn point. If you placed a campfire and it started unlit, you must ignite it with flint & steel. If it was lit and later went out, relight it. This is the most common reason a campfire spawn stops working.
Check for Waterlogging
A waterlogged campfire will not function as a spawn point. If water got into the campfire block, reignite it with flint & steel to clear the waterlogging and restore normal behavior.
Check the Space Above
On respawn, the mod automatically clears blocks above the campfire to prevent suffocation. If you are still having trouble, make sure the campfire itself has not been broken, since breaking it removes the spawn point entirely. Also confirm you have not set a newer spawn point elsewhere, as only the most recent one is active.
Check the Dimension
Campfire spawns work in the Overworld, Nether, End, and modded dimensions, so the dimension itself is rarely the problem. If respawning sends you somewhere unexpected, another spawn point may have been set more recently. Relight the campfire you want to use to make it your active respawn point again.
