Installing Motion Tracking

Craft a Motion Tracking upgrade module and insert it into a Security Camera's upgrade slot. This module automatically turns the camera lens to follow moving entities until they leave the monitored area.

Configuring Detection Range

Motion Tracking works best when paired with an Entity Detector module, which scans for nearby players, monsters, and animals. Install both modules on the same camera for comprehensive automated surveillance. The camera will detect movement within its configured range and pivot to track the target.

Using for Base Defense

Place motion-tracking cameras at entrances, around valuable storage areas, or along perimeter walls. When an intruder or mob enters the detection zone, the camera automatically focuses on them. Combine this with an alarm module to trigger sound and visual alerts sent to permitted players, creating an active defense system. The camera returns to its base position when the area clears, ready to detect the next threat.
