Add Night Vision to Cameras for Dark Areas

Obtaining the Night Vision Module

Craft a Night Vision upgrade module. This module improves visibility in dark rooms, caves, and during nighttime, allowing you to monitor areas without placing torches or other light sources.

Installing the Upgrade

Approach the Security Camera you want to upgrade. Open its interface and locate the module slot. Insert the Night Vision module into the available upgrade slot. The camera can hold multiple upgrades, so you can combine this with other modules like Entity Detector or Audio Unit.

Verifying the Upgrade

Return to your Monitoring Station and select the upgraded camera. Switch to its feed and check that dark areas now appear clearer and more visible. Night Vision is particularly useful for monitoring storage rooms, underground bases, or perimeter cameras that operate during night hours. You can install this module on multiple cameras throughout your base for comprehensive low-light surveillance.
