Bind Your First Pet to a Call Crystal

Gather Your Materials

Craft a Call Crystal by combining an Ender Eye and Amethyst in a crafting table. This basic crystal can store up to four tamed animals and works within your current dimension.

Bind Your Pet

1. Tame an animal using the standard Minecraft method (wolves with bones, cats with fish, horses with saddles, etc.)

2. Hold the Call Crystal in your hand

3. Right-click directly on your tamed animal

4. You'll see a confirmation message—your pet is now bound to the crystal

Verify the Binding

Right-click the crystal in empty air to open its status screen. You should see your pet listed with its name and health. The crystal will now automatically track this pet's location, even if it wanders far behind or gets stuck in unloaded chunks.

Next Steps

You can bind up to three more animals to the same crystal. Once full, craft a Deep Call Crystal if you need more capacity or cross-dimensional summoning.
