Use the Requester System for automated item logistics

Understand the Requester

The Requester System allows you to request specific items be delivered to a location automatically. It's ideal for keeping crafting stations, furnaces, or work areas stocked without manual trips to storage.

Place a Requester

Position the Requester block near where you need items (e.g., next to a furnace or crafting table). Connect it to your RS network via cable.

Configure requests

Open the Requester's GUI and add items you want it to pull. Specify quantities—the Requester will maintain that stock level automatically.

Link with Importers

Place an Importer (preferably Ultra or Mega tier for speed) near the Requester's output. This ensures items flow back into your main RS storage once you're done using them.

Automate workflows

Use Requesters at multiple stations to create a distributed logistics network. Each station pulls what it needs on demand, reducing clutter and keeping your main storage organized.
