Set up a high-speed item import system

Choose your tier

Decide between Elite, Ultra, Mega, or Creative based on your needs. Elite offers a good balance of speed and filter slots. Ultra and Mega provide significantly faster transfer rates with integrated stack upgrades, meaning items move in bulk automatically. Creative is overkill for most setups but transfers instantly.

Configure the importer

Place your Elite/Ultra/Mega/Creative Importer adjacent to a storage container (chest, barrel, or modded storage). Connect it to your Refined Storage network via cable.

Open the importer's GUI and assign items you want to pull using the filter slots. Elite gives you 9 extra slots beyond the base importer, while Ultra and Mega provide 27 and 45 respectively.

Optimize with stack upgrades

Ultra and Mega tiers include integrated stack upgrades, so items transfer in larger quantities without additional configuration. If using Elite, consider adding stack upgrades manually for better throughput.

Test the flow

Place items in the source container and watch them import into your RS system. Adjust filter priorities if needed—the mod respects Refined Storage's standard filter behavior.
