Find All Chicken Variants Across Different Biomes

Locating Each Chicken Type

Chickens in this mod spawn with distinct appearances tied to their biome. Travel to specific environments to collect all five variants for your farm or collection.

Frosty Chickens appear in snowy taigas with white plumage and red markings—look for them in cold, forested areas. Roofed Chickens inhabit dark forests and blend into shadowy woodland. Travel to Tropical Chickens in jungles and oases, where they match the warm environment. Mesa Chickens spawn in wooded and coniferous badlands with unique desert-adapted coloring. Finally, Marsh Chickens live in swamp biomes with muddy, mottled textures.

Tips for Efficient Hunting

Use a boat or horse to travel between biomes quickly. Bring a lead to transport chickens back to your base. Chickens spawn naturally during the day, so search during daylight hours for better visibility. If you want to breed variants together, capture at least two of the same type and feed them seeds. Keep them in separate enclosures by biome type to maintain pure variant populations, or mix them if you want to observe breeding behavior.
