Breed Specific Cow and Pig Variants
Capturing Breeding Pairs
To breed specific variants, you need at least two animals of the same type. Travel to their native biomes and capture pairs using leads.
For Cows: Find Frigid Cows in snowy plains, Chalky Cows in birch forests, Damp Cows in jungles and mangrove swamps, Soot Cows in dark forests, and Chilly Cows in meadows and tundras. For Pigs: Locate Bog Pigs in bog biomes, Mire Pigs in swamps, Dry Pigs in savannas and badlands, Field Pigs in plains and regular forests, and Grove Pigs in cherry groves.
Breeding Process
Once you have a pair, place them in an enclosed area with fencing. Feed both animals their preferred food—cows eat wheat, pigs eat carrots, potatoes, or beetroot. After feeding, hearts will appear and they'll breed. The offspring will inherit the parent variant's appearance. Keep breeding pairs separated from other variants to maintain pure bloodlines, or allow different variants to breed if you want to experiment with mixed offspring appearance.
