How to Harvest and Use Charred Blocks

Locate Burnt Remains

After fire has consumed wood and trees in your world, charred blocks remain where the original wood stood. These twisted, blackened blocks are your primary resource. Look for them in areas where fires have recently burned out, or deliberately start controlled fires to generate them.

Gather and Transport

Mine charred blocks with any tool—they drop as collectible items. Stack them in your inventory and transport them back to your base. These blocks are safe to handle and won't reignite.

Build Spooky Structures

Use charred blocks as building material for dark, atmospheric constructions. They work well for haunted houses, gothic towers, or eerie decorative elements. Mix them with other dark blocks like blackstone or deepslate for varied textures. Charred blocks maintain their burnt aesthetic, making them ideal for creating a post-apocalyptic or spooky theme in your world without requiring additional crafting or processing.
