How to Extinguish Fires Quickly

Use a Fire Extinguisher

Craft or find a fire extinguisher while exploring. This is the fastest way to put out flames. Aim at burning blocks and activate the extinguisher to instantly snuff out nearby fire. Keep one in your hotbar when working near flammable areas.

Deploy Wind Charges

Throw wind charges at burning blocks to blow out the flames. This method works at range and is useful if you're far from the fire or need to protect multiple areas simultaneously. Wind charges are particularly effective for stopping fire spread along edges.

Use Environmental Help

Position Iron Golems near valuable structures; they will actively run around and extinguish fires in their vicinity, providing passive fire protection. For emergencies, use the /burnt killFire command to instantly stop all active fires in your world, though this removes the challenge entirely.
