Locating Boombush

Boombush grows in specific biomes across the mod's world generation. Search in grassy and sandy areas, particularly near water sources and in newly generated terrain. The plant has a distinctive appearance compared to standard vegetation.

Safe Harvesting Technique

Boombush is explosive—approaching carelessly will trigger detonation and damage your health and surroundings. To harvest safely:

1. Approach from a distance and identify the plant clearly

2. Use a ranged tool or weapon to break it from several blocks away

3. Wear protective armor in case detonation occurs unexpectedly

4. Clear the area of valuable blocks or structures before harvesting

5. Collect drops quickly after breaking, as they may be scattered

Alternatively, use water or sand to smother the plant before breaking it, which can suppress the explosion. Some players find that breaking Boombush at night or during rain reduces blast intensity, though this is not guaranteed.

Uses

Boombush drops are useful for crafting and redstone contraptions. Store harvested materials away from your main base until you're ready to use them.
