How to Catch Bees in Bottles

Finding and Preparing

Bees can now be captured using glass bottles, making bee relocation and farm setup much simpler. You'll need glass bottles and a location with bees—typically near flowers or bee nests.

Catching a Bee

1. Locate a bee flying near flowers or a bee nest

2. Hold a glass bottle in your hand

3. Right-click on the bee to trap it

4. The bottle now contains a bee

5. Repeat to collect multiple bees

Setting Up Your Bee Farm

Once you have bottled bees:

• Transport them to your desired location
• Right-click the bottle to release each bee
• Place flowers and bee nests nearby
• Bees will pollinate flowers and return to nests to create honey

Advantages

Bottled bees are perfect for:

• Moving bees from their original biome to your base
• Creating centralized bee farms
• Collecting specific bee varieties without waiting for natural spawning
• Protecting bees during long journeys

Bottles stack in your inventory, so you can transport many bees at once. This makes establishing productive honey production far more convenient than relying on natural bee spawns.
