How to Catch and Transport Squids

Getting a Squid Bucket

Squids are now portable thanks to Bucket'Em Mod. To catch a squid, you'll need a regular bucket—the same kind you use for water and lava.

Catching Your Squid

1. Locate a squid in water (oceans, rivers, or any deep water source)

2. Hold your bucket and right-click on the squid

3. The squid will be scooped into the bucket instantly

4. Your inventory now shows a squid bucket instead of an empty one

Moving Your Squid

Once captured, you can:

• Carry the squid bucket in your inventory without it taking up extra space (buckets stack better in this mod)
• Travel to your destination
• Right-click on water to release the squid back into the world

Tips

Squid buckets work just like water buckets for placement purposes. If you need the squid later, simply right-click the bucket on water again to set it free. This makes squid farming and relocation much easier than trying to chase them through water channels.
