How to Catch and Move Frogs

Finding Frogs

Frogs spawn in swamp biomes and mangrove swamps. They come in three varieties: temperate (green), warm (orange), and cold (white). Bucket'Em Mod lets you capture any of them.

Catching a Frog

1. Locate a frog in or near water

2. Hold a bucket in your hand

3. Right-click on the frog to scoop it up

4. The bucket now contains your frog

Transporting Your Frog

Frogs in buckets:

• Stack efficiently in your inventory
• Can be carried long distances without escaping
• Retain their color variety (green, orange, or white)

Releasing and Breeding

When you reach your destination:

• Right-click the frog bucket on a block to release it
• Place frogs near water and lily pads for them to settle
• Multiple frogs can breed if given proper conditions

Tips

Frogs are useful for controlling tadpole populations and creating frog farms. Since they normally despawn when transported far from their spawn biome, buckets solve this problem entirely. Collect frogs from different biomes to create diverse frog populations at your base.
